Griffyn Free Concert Launch

Remember not to miss The Griffyn Ensemble’s free Gala, celebrating our 5^th Birthday/2012 Season/CD Launch/End of Year all at once! It’s on Saturday the 17^th of December, 5pm at Belconnen Arts Centre!

We have been working the nightshifts finishing production on our first CD Illicit Passions, featuring music that we have performed over the last couple of years by George Gershwin, Sting, John Corigliano/Bob Dylan, Henry Cowell, Burt Bacharach, Astor Piazzolla, Griffyn composer Michael Sollis, and others.

CAPO Gala Art Auction Evening!

Dear Art lover ... or learner....

Its on again and I really do encourage you to have a look at the invite and consider attending, if only to have a champagne with Ben and myself!!

Every year I have a blast trying to get a bargain and pick the “chosen “ art at the Art Auction Gala and Award announcements. I am always happy and excited with the treasures I bring home and really it is a highlight of the year for me. CAPO is the organisation that assisted me to go to Germany so if you, through your involvement with me, have been “ touched”by CAPO, then please support the next fortunate artist that will have the opportunity I had.

Don't forget to look at CAPO web site (click logo at bottom of the page) to find out about all of the Arts Awards (grants) you can apply for. I was the CAPO Fellow for 2007. It was a remarkable experience that I would recommend to anyone. There are many awards on offer this year. Remember ....nothing ventured ...nothing gained!!
